MALAGA AIRPORT Information: T2 TERMINAL |
Terminal T2 of the Malaga Airport, also called Pablo Ruiz Picasso,
was designed by the architecture studio of Ricardo Bofill. Its
construction began at the end of 1988 and the terminal was officially
opened on 30th November 1991.
The building has two floors with separate entrances from the
outside; the lower floor is devoted to arrivals while the upper
floor is for departures. An additional upper floor holds the
shopping area and can be reached from the restricted area, while
the basement can be reached from the arrivals area and holds
the car rental services. The terminal contains 65 check-in desks,
24 boarding gates, 14 airport walkways, and 8 baggage pick-up
belts. TRAVEL VALUE
In the airport's shops you will find top brands in cosmetics
and perfume. fashion and accessories, leather goods, jewellery,
sportswear. and food and beverages. All of these items are duty-free.
There are also shops selling souvenirs, guidebooks, music, the
press, books, etc.
If you feel like a snack or a drink, you have several choices:
the cafeteria, the pub Katie O'Connor's. or the Cafe Select.
