Old town A stroll through the white washed streets with their nooks and crannies, the patios, the hermitages... the village conserves the tranquillity and enchantment of the past, sheltered by the mountain range and looking out towards the countryside and the sea. 
Coast Small coves or large, sandy beach areas; the choice is yours. Mijas has an ample, well cared for coastal area in which the combination of beach and sun is available to all. The seafood gastronomy is the ideal complement.

Race course Thanks to our generous climate, when other racing courses have to close down due to the winter weather, stables from all over Europe bring their best horses to gallop on our tracks. On the arrival of summer, nights at the racecourse make for an unforgettable experience.  Sports We have an ample range of sporting amenities, with both summer and winter programmes; but if what you prefer is to be in contact with nature, strolling along mountain paths or practicing sea sports, then you have also chosen the ideal place.  Surroundings The richness of the nature and the landscapes in the municipality, with three very different surroundings to be enjoyed - mountain, countryside and seaside - make for never-ending options to get to know new routes, study flora and fauna or simply take a peaceful stroll. |
