The city of Seville, a place inhabited since the earliest of
times, is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Spain.
This has been helped by its excellent communications network
both by road and air. as well as the AVE; the High Speed train
which links the Andalusian capital with Madrid - a jaurney taking
just over two hours. As a result of the World Exposition held
in 1992, the city also offers a broad range of places to stay.

Hispalis is its invaluable monumental heritage, a legacy of
its long history. The fact that its historic centre, the largest
in Europe, is occupied by innumerable religious and public buildings
in an incredible variety of architectural styles makes it a
kind of "museum city". Thus, it is not surprising
that the Cathedral, the Alcazar (Islamic fortified palace) and
the Archive of the Indies have been declared World Heritage
Sites, Its mild climate, with pleasant temperatures all year
round, and its inhabitants' open and welcoming nature, alsa
contribute to making Seville a special place.
