GETTING TO SPAIN - Travel to Spain

THE cheap-flight revolution is in full swing, and the competition is fierce, as you can see from the opposite page. The internet has become your favourite way to research and purchase. The Spanish Airport Authority has a useful website for flight and airport information (www.aena.es - go to the top right corner of page for English translation).
There are other options for those of you who don't enjoy flying, need to take a car or are perhaps concerned about environmental damage caused by too many airplanes in the sky. You can take a ferry to directly to Spain from England with a company such as Brittany Ferries (www.brittany-ferries.com). Alternatively you may want to take a ferry or the Eurotunnel (www.eurotunnel.com) or Eurostar (www.eurostar.com) to France, then drive (www.theAA.com) or take a train (www.renfe.com, www.raileurope.co.uk) to Spain.
