This unique museum is housed in one of the medieval mansions on the
Carrer Montcada. At the entrance you will come across a beautiful
courtyard which has one of the most pleasant cafes in the city. Inside
the building, the museum collections invite you to take a chronological
journey through the art and techniques of textiles, clothing, embroidery,
lace-making and tapestry in European culture. You will also have the
chance to see a number of items from the Egyptian and Islamic world.
