There are many reasons why the GGGS is an unmissable place to visit.
The building itself is an architectural landmark: the Gasa de la Garitat,
a former workhouse in the Raval district, underwent a refurbishment
programme which earned it the FAD architecture prize. The interest
in the GGGS doesn't end here and extends to its busy schedule of activities
and events. The initials GGGS stand for a centre for exhibitions and
activities which embraces a diversity of fields such as music, film,
dance, performance and every aspect of artistic experimentation and
innovation. GAO'S WORLD
