BARCELONA BULLFIGHT Museum

The museum, which opened in 1969, is located in the Monumental Bullring, and dedicated to bullfighting. The museum consists of two galleries located above the bullring stables. The collection of objects associated with the world of bullfighting includes posters of famous bullfights ; suits of lights which trace the development of this unique type of clothing throughout history ; bulls' heads ; implements and ribbons ; and portraits of important bullfighters. The museum is only open during the bullfighting season from April to September.

April-September, 10.30am - 2pm and 4pm - 7pm.
Sunday. 10am - 1 pm and afternoons when bullfights are held.
Closed October - March

The museum, located in the crypt, traces the past, present and future of the church through models, photographs, plans and decorative objects. You will have the opportunity to see the Nativity and Passion facades, as well the interior of the naves, and climb the towers either on foot or by taking the lift.
